They say you never forget your First Time, so now i have added pressure to make sure that this one's good.
Where shall we start, maybe by an introduction, a "Once upon a time..."
I am Anisha, 27 years, 2 months and 8 days old. I was born in the same year that color television was introduced into India. I have grown up in many and most parts of the world, from the Cold of Russia to the Tea and Coffee Plantations of the Southern Indian Nilgiris to the Warmth and Wilderness of South Africa, and visited almost every continent on the planet, except South America & Antarctica. I have included this in my introduction, because travelling is an essential part of my journey in this world. It is a big part of who I am and how I have turned out. Travelling is in my blood, it is also my truest hobby. It is the one thing in the world that I can manage to save money to do. It's also the only thing that depletes my bank balance on a regular basis.
I live in New Delhi, India in a comfortable suburban home with a front lawn and a backyard, which in my part of the world is considered lucky, hell, even luxurious. I live with my mother, my father, my dog Jerry and our help, Anima. I work as a training consultant and often travel to fabulous unknown retreats around Northern India. I am surrounded by friends that are kind, warm, funny, generous and amazing, people who make my world so beautiful. Most of whom who you will get well aquainted with in my adventures, which I am keen to journal in this blog.
Now, to why I decided to start this blog. I may be still young(esh) - i always think age is a relative term, but the sum of my experiences are vast- ranging from hilarious, sad, heart wrenching, joyess, exciting, but over and above all of this it has been Human. So this is my way of reaching out and saying I am young, fresh, unmarried and I have a lot to say. I do not promise that this will or can be a daily fixture, but I do promise I will try to be as regular as possible.
Since at this point I am on one of my extended vacations in the Land Down Under, I shall sign off with a local salutation.
G'dday Mate.
